Ever wondered where people find their super-cheap wholesale suppliers for eBay? They have a secret tool that they use: SaleHoo. In this video, I teach you how to use SaleHoo’s directory to find them.
Step 1: Sign up for a SaleHoo subscription
The way that we find our wholesale suppliers for eBay is using SaleHoo, an online supplier directory containing supplier profiles for over 8,000 different suppliers including wholesalers, dropshippers, liquidators and manufacturers.
Step 2: Load up all of SaleHoo’s suppliers
In the top menu bar once you’ve signed into your subscription, click “Wholesale Directory.” If you don’t know what type of item to sell, what I suggest you do then is look through all of SaleHoo’s wholesalers and find the best items in their catalogs to buy. To do this, you’ll need to load up each wholesaler on their directory list. To do that, click on the blue button next to the search bar.
If you already know what type of item you want to sell, click on the related category. So if you want to sell items relating to clothing and fashion, click on that button on the page. In this video as I explain, I wanted to find the best wholesale suppliers for eBay that sell clothing, so I clicked “clothing and fashion.”
Step 3: Sort suppliers into wholesalers
Not all of the suppliers we loaded up in step 2 will be wholesalers, so we need to filter the results to only show wholesalers. To do this, click “more options.” From here, click “supplier type.” Select “wholesalers” from the list. When you do, SaleHoo will automatically refresh it’s results to only show wholesalers.
Step 4: Optional - filter results to only show Asian wholesalers
Generally, I only use Asian wholesale suppliers for eBay because they tend to be the cheapest. This isn’t always the case though! And sometimes, you may want to find suppliers located in your local region to speed up shipping times. Wherever you want your suppliers to be located is up to you.
To filter the results by region, click “more options.” Select “region.” Click on whatever part of the world you want your suppliers to be located. For me, I select Asia.
And then you’re done! You can also filter results even more, such as by minimum order requirements or to find wholesale suppliers for eBay that don’t require a sales tax ID.
When you’ve done all of these steps and located a list of wholesalers, go through each of their catalogs and look at the prices of their items. In this video, I show you one item - Ralph Lauren Polo Shirts - that you can buy in a bulk wholesale lot for 450 pounds with free shipping This works out to be $14.07 USD per shirt. You can then resell them for $39.99 USD per shirt! That is a big profit. So go through each of the catalogs and look for the bargains like this: then buy them, and resell them for a big profit on eBay.
And don’t forget to take into account eBay and PayPal fees, too. These usually work out to be between 10-15%.
